A deep-dive into your favourite creative businesses!

Emma Cutri and Alice McIntosh met at the disco almost 10 years ago. In 2014 the pair transformed their friendship into a fashion label, SISTER. Named after their tight-knit community of close girl friends, SISTER immediately filled a gap in the market for easy, fun clothing that felt and looked good to boogie in! Their vintage-inspired wide-leg jumpsuits, flared pants, off-the-shoulder ruffle dresses, and sweet party tops are now seen shimmying across dance floors all over Australia.

Originally starting SISTER from their kitchen table, the BFF duo has recently opened a flagship store in Fitzroy North and now stocks in stores across Australia, New Zealand, and the states. Join Emma and Alice from SISTER for an inside look at their unconventional entry into the fashion industry, learn their practical tips and tricks for starting a brand, gain insight into how they’ve grown their business, and hear the pearls of wisdom they’ve learned along the way!

What you can expect:

Learn how Alice and Emma took SISTER from the kitchen floor to a shopfront + selling across Aus, NZ and the states
Hear the highs and lows of running a business with your bestie
Understand the challenges and opportunities of being Australian made
Find out the rules of business they’re learning on the job!
